Nato a Savona il 07 marzo 1947, laureato in Matematica, ha svolto la propria attività dal 1975 al 2007 nel settore della Information & Communication Technology. Vive e lavora tra Savona ed Albissola Marina.
Fotografo e viaggiatore da sempre.
Da qualche anno accompagna alla fotografia, sua prima passione, delle esperienze artistico-creative abbinando l’immagine ed il colore, alla composizione ceramica.
Presente nel settore con varie esposizioni collettive e con varie personali realizzate tra Albissola, Noli, Cuneo e Alba, espone pezzi in ceramica a smalto, che attraverso le forme ed i colori cercano di trasmettere le sensazioni catturate con la macchina fotografica e la mente durante i viaggi in paesi vicini e lontani nel mondo.
I pezzi in ceramica sia formati a mano che realizzati al tornio sono decorati con smalti e ossidi, con l’inserimento di cristalli, vetro e metalli, cotti a “gran fuoco” ad alta temperatura, in una simbiosi cromatica di rilevante effetto.
L’immagine è vista come uno strumento che sollecita la fantasia per ricreare quei movimenti e quei colori che nella natura tropicale o desertica piuttosto che nelle isole e nei mari, hanno più emozionato l’artista durante i suoi viaggi.

Present in the sector with varied collective exposures and with many “personnels” realized among Albissola, Noli, Cuneo and Alba, it exposes pieces in ceramics to enamel, that you try to transmit the feelings captured with the photographic car and the mind during the trips in near and distant countries in the world through the forms and the colours. The pieces in ceramics is fully grown to hand that realized to the lathe they are decorated with enamels and oxides, with the insertion of crystals, glass and metals, cooked to “big fire” to tall temperature, in a chromatic ensemble of remarkable effect. The image is seen how a tool that solicits the imagination to recreate that movements and that colours that in the tropical or desert nature rather than in the islands and in the seas, they have more excited the artist during its trips.
